Why Link Here?
Our philosophy. We deliver QUALITY TRAFFIC. We scrub, we filter, we niche, we target market. You will get more hits from several large link sites than from us. Some of that will be pretty decent quality, some will not be.
The quality depends on a variety of factors. One is: Do they filter the traffic, getting rid of the no-buying surfer before it goes to you? Another factor: how is their search engine traffic? and where does their traffic come from before it gets sent out to you?
In a nutshell then, we may not have a ton of traffic coming in and going out to you compared to others. (Mind you, we also have a LOT more quantity traffic than many other links sites as well!) .... but we sure as hell do have quality traffic! How? Look at our domain name, the name of this site. Is it LaughingGorilla.com? WackaWacka.com? No, FREE PORN List. Figure it out yourself, the domain name and search engines with link popularity, and we're a links list ... Do the math. We currently get almost 50% of our traffic from search engines.
So with the SE traffic, the filtering, the scrubbing, and the targeting over a variety of niche sites, you don't get a bunch of bandwidth leeches to your sites. You get damned good traffic. Better yet, we've been around a couple of years now. That puts us even higher on still other SEs, and our button is out there everywhere now, and surfers know this site well. What does that mean? It means over time, we keep getting more traffic, and more GOOD traffic. And good traffic means sales for you. What more could you want?
New Rules (as of February 14th):
We've changed are rules. It was time. We've been around a long time now. We'd gotten up to 7.5K links. And a lot of them didn't make the grade any more. Times and surfer habits change. We've gotten stricter. Not as strict as others, some of which have gotten draconian, but yes we're stricter. And we're appealing to a more discerning type of surfer. In the end, we're not going to force you to give away the farm, just less tricks, less clutter. There are still many effective ways to sell surfers. And just as you make a site for Yahoo or DMOZ that is cleaner than usual, the same applies here. Our surfers will be appreciative of better quality sites. And that will in turn continue to draw a better quality surfer, both to our site and to yours.
Here are our rules. The new rules changes are in red:

Yes, Free and AVS sites (and AVS Gold/Platinum,etc)
No paysites (except amateurs with large free areas)

Rules, the more detailed version (again, read and know both!)
- FREE and AVS sites (including Gold and Platinum, etc) are welcomed.
- NO CONSOLES! Sites with consoles will no longer be accepted.
(Build a bunch of sites, link your console site to your other cleaner sites. Just don't list them here.)
- We prefer our recip link-back on your MAIN page.
- We will take the recip link-back on your index page provided you put us BEFORE your enter button, NOT after it and buried
- you do NOT put us on some alternate entrance page (aka, index9.html, indexb.html, start.htm, begin.htm, warning.htm, etc etc etc) with other link sites that do not have any traffic!
You have three choices, period .... Either put us up on your 1) main page, or you may put us up on your 2) REAL index page, or 3) you may put us up on an alternate entrance page PRVOVIDED ONLY that the other link sites on that page give substantial traffic to that page. ... If you are in anyway unsure about the other link sites on the planned alternate page, then put it on index or on main.
- Whether the recip is on the main page on the REAL index page of your site, we won't approve your submission if we're just one in a list of 50 other button or text links. No link list button farms, in other words! And the same goes for text links farms as well. No farms, period. If we're among 10, fine. If we're one of 30, forget it. Use your own head. If you don't give us a paltry bit of traffic back for our time and effort, then we sure as hell won't give you any. Go elsewhere if you want to leech.
- Your site must now have a minimum of 20 pics. We know you can still make good money dividing 20 pics into two or three galleries. Most people make 20 pic sites now anyway.
- We WILL allow templated sites and feeder sites. HOWEVER ...
- We will NOT list sites that use the same exact content over and over again!! A site that looks very much like another site but with 20 or 30 or 100 different photos is one thing. A site that a) looks like another site or b) doesn't look like another site, but keeps using the same freaking 20 photos every single time. No way.
- We do not list pay sites ... with the following exception: if you are an amateur site with an extensive free area with bunches of pics/previews - even if they lead up to a paysite - then that is considered a free site
- No galleries. This is not a thumbnail gallery post; this is a link list ... duh!
- We won't list you if you try any crap: this included but is not limited to: disabling or redirecting the back button, you have no content, you are a circle jerk, you are a very blind linking site, a mouse trap site, you have a sponsor banner farm, you try tricks, etc.
- We won't list you if you have if you have rape, beastiality, child pornography, nor anything illegal there. This includes paysite passwords, warez, illegal MP3s, on your site or link to them. (In fact we will report you on child porn immediately and do our best to shut you down forever)
This includes text and/or META tags or hidden text that support, advertise, or suggest child pornography or which in any way invites or suggests to invite either pedophiles or children to that site. (Aka "little school girls, youngest teenies, illegal teens" "teletubbies, beanie babies, pokemon", etc) ... If we find any of that shit, you will be reported to authorities.
- We won't list you if you are on a free host or host (such as AOL, GeoCities, Tripod, etc) where adult content is forbidden.
- We WILL list you if you are on, adult free hosted sites are welcomed. HOWEVER is we feel a certain adult free host(s) redirects sites, has become over run with blind links past a certain reasonable degree, has consoles, or FPAs before getting to your site, then we will NOT list you. Know your adult free host, in other words, before you submit!!
- have "public domain" content (there is no such thing) or otherwise steal pics
- All of the new rules enforced not only on all new submmissions, but also will be enforced RETROACTIVELY.
The new rules will be made known on the most popular message boards, and you have all been sent an email to the addy you signed your sites up with. You will have seven days to comply. After that point and beginning on February 21, we will begin going through every site listed here, and any that fail to comply to the new rules will be deleted from this database.
If you do not want to change a site that has previously been listed with us (your site currently has 10 pics, or a console, etc, and you do not want to update your site,) that is your freedom of choice. Just remove your link to us, as we will be taking your listing off here.
AVS site owners, we require your INSIDE URL in order to make sure content you listed is there. (We do not have AVS passwords to every AVS known to man.)
Note: We will NOT NEVER EVER link inside your protected area. We link ONLY to your outside tour! ... But, again, we do have to check the content to see it is as listed.
You must give the reciprocal link on the outside, on the tour. (You may, if you choose, give us one on the inside as well, but not instead of.) All of the other above rules of course apply.
